An Edutest scholarship exam consists of mathematics, numerical reasoning, verbal reasoning and reading comprehension. A written essay is also part of the test.
Online courses are now available for verbal reasoning as well as mathematics and numerical reasoning.

An example of a mathematics question is shown below.

I noticed that in running the marathon many of the competitors that did not win started quickly and progressively slowed throughout the race. One such competitor began at an incredible pace of 30 km/hr and ran at that rate for 24 minutes. How should students go about answering this type of question? There is a method which will enable a year 5 or year 6 student to see this problem much simpler than it first appears to be.
