Back to Edutest Selective School Exams

One in two

Posted 20 January 2017 by John Grundy (Edutest Selective School Exams)

Nearly 1 in every 2 (45%) Brainworks selective school (Melbourne, MacRob, Nossal, Cory) students received a first preference, mainly Melbourne High and MacRob High, for 2016. Part of the process of working through our modules includes completing practice exams. However a significant component of Brainworks preparation includes reviewing those exams individually with every student. As a previous year 12 VCE teacher for over 10 years, and before that as a student myself, I learned that reviewing exams with a certain technique helped understanding immensely. Using that technique Brainworks' students have performed well in the selective school exams. I take great pride in the fact that at Brainworks we are meeting individual student needs.
