Scholarship Tests

Posted 20 November 2013 by John Grundy (Online Learning News)

To prepare or not to prepare, that is the question. And if that is the question, what is the answer?
One option is online learning. It can provide the necessary familiarity for question types and provide examples of the level of difficulty. Are the questions challenging and are the tests being used to a student's advantage?

Online results from our students indicate that our tests do provide the necessary challenge with average marks ranging from 45 to 60% in the eleven topics of problem solving for students preparing for year seven entry.  It is also assisting them to develop their own sense of responsibility for their learning. In all topics the tests have been attempted between two and four times. Similarly for verbal reasoning the number of attempts by a student for all tests, save one, is between two and four. Results for those tests indicate an average of between 54 and 85%.

Feedback is provided to each student. Using the following code, scholarships, you can receive a 10% discount on any of our online scholarship courses.
