A 30 minute test of techniques required to solve questions related to sequences, patterns, logic, sets, information tables, time and equivalents in order to assess a student's ability to learn.

A 30 minute test of techniques required to solve questions related to vocabulary and the relationship between words and their meanings in order to assess a student's ability to learn.

A 40 minute test comprising of 2 tasks, usually including both a creative and persuasive writing piece.

A 35 minute test designed to assess a student’s ability to use their knowledge and skills to answer questions using the information provided.

A 30 minute test designed to assess a student’s ability to use their knowledge and skills to solve problems using the information provided.

  • While discussing your child’s goals we will advise whether this program is the right fit.
  • We will explain the course (module) structure and fees.

When you’re ready to proceed, we’ll guide you through a quick phone enrolment, collect your details, and lock in a suitable start date and session time.

  • You will  be sent a confirmation of the enrolment.
  • Usually each student attends one lesson per week.
  • When students commence the module they will be introduced to our system of learning which provides 1 to 1 tution.
  • Enrolment is flexible and tailored to your child.
Each student is given a range of tasks during each session of the module.

  • The module is designed to meet the requirements of the exam for which students are preparing.
  • Each module is designed according to current age and includes assessments, skill development and tests.
  • Learning is targeted, purposeful, and supported by experienced tutors. Students are assessed for their ability to understand work, sometimes within time limits in order to improve strategy.
  • Tutors provide consistent feedback throughout each session.
Work that is not completed in the session can be taken for homework to consolidate learning.

  • Tutors check the homework, and reveiwed by provide ongoing feedback.
  • Learning plans can be tailored to keep students on track and engaged to get the most from their attendance.
  • Students can ccess further work on the Learning Portal.
  • Parents gain clarity from the learning plans and students performance.
An exam is completed at the end of the module. Reviews of performance are an important component.

Year 9 entry

Applications usually open early March and close in April. The exam is currently held in June. Following the exam it takes around 6 weeks of marking and students are notified of their success. There are several types of entry and click here for further details.


Year 10 entry

Applications are open in February. The exam is currently held in June and is conducted by Edutest. Further details of the application procedure can be found here.
