The Brainworks Foundation program includes maths tutoring and English tutoring for students in years 1 to 10, building confidence in all areas. Your child will be assessed at their current level and a program tailored for their specific needs and goals.
Students build skills and confidence, gain exam question familiarity and develop exam strategies. Students study specific exam subjects including numerical, verbal and abstract reasoning, comprehension, maths and essay writing.

Start preparing for specific 2024 selective school entrance exams to Melbourne High, Mac Robertson Girls’ High, Suzanne Cory and Nossal High. Your child will develop knowledge and confidence about the selective exam process and study the updated curriculum that corresponds to the changes in the 2024 selective entry exam. They will study exam topics including reading comprehension, mathematics & problem solving, creative & persuasive writing, verbal reasoning verbal reasoning, numerical reasoning and science topics. Are you thinking about your child sitting for a scholarship? Brainworks tutoring can assist your child’s private school scholarship exam preparation. At Brainworks, students work through content that is specific for their ACER, Edutest and AAS scholarship exams. Subjects include reading comprehension, mathematics & problem solving, writing, verbal reasoning, numerical reasoning, abstract reasoning, and humanities.
Brainworks McKinnon will be running school holiday tutoring programs during January for maths and English tutoring before the start of the next school year. The Intensive Scholarship and Selective Entry programs will also be available for students planning to sit for 2024 scholarship and selective exams.
