Your child will build and improve their skills and confidence with Brainworks tutoring. Courses are individualised and teaching is one to one, with continuous assessment and a maximum of 6 students to 1 teacher.

Customised Learning Programs

Your child will receive an individual program that has been developed to meet their learning needs and educational goals. They work through their own program learning new skills and developing confidence.

Maths & English Tutoring

The Foundation program is available for students in years 1 to 10. It builds confidence in all areas of maths and English. Your child will be assessed at their current level of skills and a program tailored for their specific needs and goals.

Scholarship & Selective Entry Exams

Students build skills and confidence, gain exam question familiarity and develop exam strategies. Students study specific exam subjects including numerical, verbal and abstract reasoning, comprehension, maths and essay writing.

Welcome to Brainworks McKinnon where your child will receive genuine one to one tutoring, building their confidence and skills.

Your child will receive tutoring that recognises their individual needs and educational goals. By tutoring one to one, Brainworks can effectively assist and tutor your child in all areas of maths and English for Years 1- 10, scholarship exam preparation and readiness for selective school exams.

Does your son or daughter want to gain entry into the selective school of their choice? Do they want to prepare for specific entrance exams to Melbourne High, Mac Robertson Girls’ High, Nossal High, Suzanne Cory High, John Monash Science School, SEAL, ALP schools and similar tests?

At Brainworks, students develop knowledge about the selective exam process, format and questions. They work through a framework of content that is customised and targeted to their goals, building skills progressively and improving exam technique and strategy.
